About Us

Welcome to ReelFlies® Fishing Flies and our website, ReelFlies.ca (a division and brand of Digital Barn Ltd., established in 2003) - Canada's largest and most popular online fishing fly store. What sets ReelFlies.ca apart is quite simple: the quality of our flies, the variety of options, the use of high-grade materials, branded Japanese hooks, and a focus on locally tied patterns. Even though we offer some of the best value premium flies in North America, we never compromise on quality. We are also the proud supplier for many top Fly Fishing Professionals, River Guides, TV Shows, Fly Fishing Stores, Outfitters, and Lodges.
ABOUT US: ReelFlies.ca is a long established, rapidly growing, award-winning, 100% Canadian, family-run online fishing fly business. Led by fly fishermen, headed by Steve B (President), who has over 40 years of fly fishing experience. Our easy-to-navigate website offers one of the most comprehensive selections of top-quality hand-tied fly fishing flies in North America. We feature over 2,100 hand-crafted patterns and an additional 300+ patterns that are just about to go live. All our flies are beautifully illustrated, with pin-sharp professional photography and detailed descriptions. Unlike other websites that hide the quality of their flies with low-resolution illustrations, ReelFlies® uses detailed professional photography, allowing you to inspect every detail of the fly. We pride ourselves on offering nothing short of phenomenal value, and as a family-run business, we focus on excellent service. You only have to read some of our real customer comments on our Facebook page to know why we are the top choice for fishing flies.
WHO USES OUR FLIES? You can buy with complete peace of mind at ReelFlies. In addition to our thousands of fellow fly fishermen just like you, we currently supply flies to some of the best-known names in the fly fishing industry, such as Bill Spicer and Colin McKeown from the world-acclaimed TV Show, "The New Fly Fisher." We are also the chosen supplier for hundreds of professional and semi-pro fly fishing guides across Canada & the USA. These experts earn their living from fly fishing and know how to tie flies, yet still rely on ReelFlies.ca to replenish their fly boxes.
FLY CHOICE: We currently produce over 2,100+ fly patterns; many tied locally right here in Canada, all tied on top-quality hooks from Mustad, Daiiachi, Murato, Dai-Riki, Kamasan, and VMC. The flies we sell are premium quality, equal to or often surpassing the flies you buy at your local tackle store. In fact, we wholesale flies to many well known tackle stores in the Canada. We have likely tied some of the flies in your box. We employ some of the most talented fly tiers in the industry. As a result, I am proud to say, when we gain a new customer, we keep this customer for life. This is only possible by offering the finest products backed by traditional family-run business service.
We are continually adding innovative fly patterns and variations, with over 300 new patterns about to be added.
LOCATION: We have recently moved to larger main street offices and retail fly shop (open for walk-ins by appointment). Our new store, close to 4,000 sq ft. is conveniently located in the heart of Tillsonburg, Ontario, Canada and offers ample free parking front and rear. From here, we distribute our premium flies throughout Canada and the USA.
QUALITY: Are you tired of buying flies that fall apart after one good session? Our flies will stand the test of time and exceed your expectations in every aspect. Even the most discerning Fly Fisher will be satisfied. If you are planning to fish in Ontario, I'd like to recommend a couple of guides that we currently sell flies to: Mike Verhoef, head guide and owner of Fly Fitters, and several of the Guides at Grindstone Angling, one of Canada's longest established outfitters and guiding companies.
SUPPORT: Not sure which flies to pick? Our team of Fly Fishing experts, many with over 20 years of experience in the Art of Fly Fishing, will be there to help. Email us for details.
WEBSITE SALES: A few times a year, we may run a sale on our site. During these times, no other discount codes or coupons can be added. All sale prices are final, and in the event of items being temporarily out of stock, close alternatives will be included at sale times.
Check out some of our recent customer testimonials at www.Facebook.com/ReelFlies.ca. We pride ourselves on standing out from the crowd and stand behind every fishing fly that we sell.
Make an appointment today to visit our fly shop, you will be like a kid in a candy store. This is a great opportunity for our customers to meet us and see firsthand just how good our fishing flies are. You may have some reservations when you see our prices, but these are quickly put aside once you handle and inspect what we have to offer. While there's nothing better than catching a fish on your own hand-tied offering, when time is of the essence and you just need to get down to the water, that's when we can be of help.
