The Avalon Shrimp accounts for more trophy Permit and Bonefish than almost any other flats fly.  This is a large natural coloured shrimp imitation with build-in beaded keel that inverts the fly so that it swims hook up to avoide the grassy flats and other snags. Originating from Cuba, but now recognised as the go to fly for most Caribbean saltwater flats destinations. If you are heading south this is a must have Bonefish and Permit fly.
