Not a joke or just an indicator

Well my dad and I were fishing for multiple days and using a multitude of rigs. He eventually slapped on this huge fly as he couldn't see anything else in the fast rapids on the Madison with a dropper connected. Out of no where a 28" brown came and just inhaled the Chubby Chernobyl. Insane so I guess this is not just an indicator as we had joked about.
