These flies are well made and can be used in many different locations.

All flies were used on recent cutthroat lake fishing trip and the doc spratley black held together as well as some of my more expensive flies. ie. foil did not fall off and hooks did not need to be straightened after fish release. Would like to know if flies could be purchased with the barbs pinched?

Haven't had a chance to fish with it yet as the ice has just come off the lakes but hope to try the Doc in the next couple of weeks. Good looking fly.
