Kaufmann's Brown Stone Nymph - RF-5617

$0.87

Kaufmann's Brown Stone Nymph. This is the standard tying of the Kaufmann's Brown Stone Nymph and is highly recommended. We all know that Kaufmann's Brown Stone Nymph's are deadly Steelhead patters but did you know that these are one of the most productive carp patters. I have personally had specimen carp out of the Thames river in Ontario in excess of 20lb on this fly. I have also had mind blowing Small Mouth Bass action with the Kaufmann's Brown Stone Nymph on the Maitland and Bayfield rivers. Brown Kaufmanns Stonefly. Imitates the Salmonfly nymph (Pteronarcys californica) One of my personal favourites. The Kaufmanns Stonefly nymph is one of the most deadly fly and float fishermen patterns. Productive in most rivers and lakes across Canada and the US. I have fished these nymphs in a variety of colours on most of the Great Lakes tribs including the Maitland, Nine Mile and Bayfield. This fly will catch just about every species that swims including Bass & Carp but for Steelhead it is just incredible. Brown Kaufmanns Stones should be fished close to the bottom so you will loose a few so stock up on these incredible imitations, you just won't regret it.
