A longer tailed variant is the Wiggle Green Drake - Mayfly Nymph. The tail section add additional movement and attractant to the waiting trout. This fly works well for a variety of species including Carp and small Mouth Bass. Wiggle Green Drake mayfly nymphs are becoming popular in many regions but are used extensively throughout the rivers in Nova Scotia.
