ReelFlies® Brown Drake Dry Fly

Big mayflies. Confident rises. Memorable evenings. The ReelFlies® Brown Drake Dry Fly imitates the adult mayflies that bring trout to the surface during a Brown Drake hatch. Its natural brown colouring and recognisable mayfly profile make it a valuable pattern when trout are looking up for a substantial meal.

Fish it on a gentle, drag-free drift through feeding lanes, along current seams, and over rising trout. Match your hook size to the naturals and allow the fly to travel at the same pace as the surrounding water for a convincing presentation.

Whether you’re preparing for an anticipated hatch or filling a gap in your mayfly selection, the Brown Drake deserves a place in your dry-fly box.

• Adult mayfly imitation: Designed for trout feeding on Brown Drakes at the surface.

• Natural brown colouring: Offers a convincing match for these sizeable mayflies.

• Hatch-focused presentation: An ideal pattern to reach for when Brown Drakes are on the water.

• Best fished: With a drag-free drift and a light application of dry-fly floatant.
